”I believe the part of the hotel we stayed in was not part of the newer renovated rooms, the room we had was comfortable and very clean. The room was small and the bathroom was very tiny, but since it was just my husband and I it was adequate. We only stayed one night. The bed was very comfortable! ”We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott.”

”Air-conditioning did not work properly. The room was dirty. Was charged for a safe use in the room three dollars a day at check-in. Got to the room and it did not even have a safe. Hot water and a bed. Don’t expect much. ”

”Agree with many other reviews. The location is fantastic, parking is extremely tight, wasn’t very clean, ceiling fans are completely covered in thick dust, super low water pressure in showers, zero communication regarding where and how to check (I only knew because of reviews), and there is no elevator for those who would need it. Overall, our stay was ok. Wouldn’t stay again for the price.”

”The exhaust vent in the hallway on the fourth floor is extremely noisy! Handheld shower handle was a low quality product. The omlets for breakfast were not very good. Enjoyed the automated brewed coffee in the breakfast area, it was very good. However, the coffee served in the lobby was terrible. The desk clerk said I am not eligible for IHG points since I made my reservation through Expedia.”

”This place is great! The beach is right down the street, restraunts and coffee places,+ tourist shops are all within 2 pretty small blocks. The staff were friendly and nice and the place was clean and tidy! ”

”We found the hotel was clean and well maintained but a little dated. Breakfast was not that great so we stopped and got breakfast on the road. It is a great value. A great place to stay and close to the beach and also close to bike rentals.”

”I booked a king room with a balcony. When we got there, we checked in, parked pretty far away, carried our luggage to out room only to find 2 queen beds. Noone informed us of a room change prior to walking in and finding out ourselves. It would have been nice to be informed when checking in at least. When i went back down to the desk to ask i was told there was probably a maintenence problem.They did offer us a free breakfast for the inconvenience but it doesn't change the bed size. When we...

”The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Having free parking is wonderful, outside and in the garage. The room overall smelled and appeared clean but the bathroom bathtub could have been cleaner, it was like slightly grey as if there was build up dirt. Also, the cleaning policy is every other day which is ok but I had to ask them to clean because they didn't even when they were suppose to. And the area is pretty quiet so it's good if you don't like noise. Overall I would give the place a 3.5”
