”This place was gross. It reeked of cigarette smoke. There were splatters of substances all over the walls in the bedroom and bathroom. Little black hairs were everywhere, including the faucet. Stained bath mats. The entry code to the shared front door was the same as the door to the apartment which didn’t feel particularly safe. The front door to the apartment had plexiglass windows which also felt unsafe. Neighbors were yelling in front of the house until 1 am on one night of my 3 night stay....
