Siisti ja sympaattinen hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla
Siisti ja sympaattinen hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla. Huoneemme oli aika pieni, mutta oikein siisti ja varmaankin vastaremontoitu. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja monipuolinen. Oikein ystävällinen henkilökunta.

Very good location but facility a bit outdated
The hotel is located right at the center of Desenzano near the harbor. Request a room with a view to enjoy the daily activities of the local people going about. The downside to this is a bit of noise in the evenings as they have musical performances outside. The room was clean and the bathroom had recently been renovated. However the lobby and breakfast area was outdated and could use some work. Breakfast was ok in terms of food quality and selection. The staff was ok, not super friendly but we could manage. Overall a nice stay of 4 nights.

Great location, hotel itself not so great
Hotel has a great location just beside Desenzanos old town and the lake Garda. But the location doesn't make the hotel itself great! Room was small, balcony as well and from the balcony you could only see the wall of the building next to us. I dont know if it was because the time of the year, but there was almost nobody else in the hotel. So the hotels restaurant was only open for the breakfast, which was far from the best we've had! And there were ugly brown plastic chairs in the restaurant and also they were far too small!!! Ok, there are many nice restaurants close. Another weard thing was, that our room was on third floor but on this part of the hotel the elevator only went to 1st floor. So if you have difficulties climbing the stairs, make sure about in which part of the hotel your room will locate. From the outside the hotel and the neighborhood was very beautiful, specially in the evening, as you can see in the pictures. It was nice for a "romantic" trip, but dont expect too much from the hotel itself.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely central area around the hotel. Our room was somewhat basic but functional and comfortable. I bet the rooms with the balconies would be beautiful. The breakfast was great and filling. Lots of choice for everyone, I think. Overall, I'd come back here in a heartbeat if I ever come back.

what a delightful spot, right in the center of everything, ferry and public beach within 5 min walking, great dining in the area and a lovely staff. we had a room with a little balcony and it was just perfect. very quiet at night and nice breakfast on the terrace. the 2nd floor terrace was also a quiet delight. thank you

Friendly staff, great area. It’s a bit of a walk from the train station, but only a few minutes by taxi. The buffet breakfast was nice (and included!)l I don’t think we could’ve asked for a better placed hotel. Tons of eating options and the Lake is basically steps outside the door.

Loved everything about this place. Wish we could have turned the air conditioner down a few degrees. There are steps within the room that could be a challenge. Staff was incredible and had wonderful recommendations on restaurants. Would stay again anytime!!!

Fantastic location, fantastic staff.
Fantastic service from all the staff in the hotel, they were all very friendly and very accommodating. Room was great and location was absolutely stunning. Would highly reccommend and i know that we will definately be back for a longer stay next time.

This hotel is a very pleasant property. The communication was excellent. All staff members very exceptionally friendly and helpful. We appreciated their attention to the smallest detail. We would return to this hotel without hesitation. The selection for the breakfast was very good. The hotel is close to the harbor and many restaurants.

We were going to stay here in the summer of 2020 when….well, you know. Even though at that time I did not get the free cancellation option through Expedia, I contacted the hotel s when we could not go and they refunded the cost with no issues. Well, we finally got to Italy this and booked with the hotel again because of their generosity and professionalism. Needless to say they were great, and tremendous value for a spectacular location. Great service, warm and welcoming.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, we were made to feel welcome from arriving to leaving. The rooms were well appointed and serviced every day. The Terrace overlooking harbour was a perfect place to relax. The position of the hotel is excellent, in the hub of Desenzano surrounded by a plethora of restaurants and cosy bars. I cannot recommend this hotel high enough. We will be returning withy a doubt.

Excellent position for ferry point, lovely view from front of hotel where we sat every morning for breakfast. Breakfast was a good selection, fruit varied every day. Weather was great when we were there which makes all the difference. Had a slight issue which was dealt with promptly by Alberto. Good air con. Lovely upstairs terrace to sit at and watch the world go by, you could buy drinks downstairs. Would stay here again.

Just returned from a wonderful week at the Hotel Piroscafo and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The location is absolutely beautiful overlooking the harbour. The hotel itself is immaculate and the staff are all fantastically helpful. For me personally as a coeliac, I really appreciated the excellent gluten free breakfast options which set me up for the day. I’m sure there are many great hotels in Desenzano, but on our next visit there will only be one place that we want to stay! 😊

Perfect location
We needed a central base for short break. It was perfect for Ferry and Railway station. The views stunning. Everywhere was clean, people friendly and helpful. Bars to eat and drink watching the world go by.

Super beliggenhet rett ved en nydelig liten havn, samtidig som du er midt i sentrum av butikker, restauranter og båter til Sirmione, Bardolino osv. God og enkel frokost, nydelig ekte italiensk kaffe. Veldig hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale. Nyoppusset bad og rom. En liten perle av hotell.
