”I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The bedroom was lovely and very comfortable, and that spa facilities provided the perfect way to relax. The food was excellent and the staff were all lovely and made us feel so welcome. ”

”Staff were nice and friendly, was great we could check in early , room was dated but clean . Unfortunately woke up very early by staff hoovering .”

”Beware. The first photo paints a brighter picture than the reality, which is a courtyard at the back of a standard drinkers pub , which would never be described as warm and cosy. Despite the photo, the courtyard is full of wooden benches and a temporary structure for smokers. It's a simple bed and breakfast that is clean and if priced accordingly would be OK. Despite having to go through the pub the room was quiet. But it is not priced accordingly. I wouldn't recommend or stay again.”

”It was comfortable, quiet and conveniently located for exploring the area. Comfortable beds, everything one needed in the kitchen, big bathroom and large dining/sitting room. Wasn't keen on open plan bedrooms upstairs, where one could see and hear everything that was said and done in the other bedroom.”

”Very disappointed to find our rooms didn’t have windows ! This fact was not mentioned when we booked ! Hotel was generally quite “tired”.”

”Place smelled horrible. Bedsheets were stained. Mold all over the shared bathroom. I found a pair of used underwear beneath my mattress. The place had not been vacuumed in ages. Very shocked Expedia would allow a place like this to remain on their website. ”
