”Booked last minute and was so pleasantly surprised by Diani Sea Lodge. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed yet with plenty of entertainment and the food was exceptional (we are still talking about how good it was). The room was spacious and comfortable with every amenity available. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Diani. ”

”With this price range you would expect everything to be perfect but this resort has still a lot of things to be worked on. Overall experience is nice, service is good, breakfast is great. But... wifi is not working, with the cleaning of the rooms there is always something wrong; towels replaced for one person only, water floating on the floor, soaps are finished and not replaced. We used laundry service too and one of my shirts was missing and I got someone else's shirt. They could track mine...

”The hotel is alright,maybe not 4 stars,more like 3. Pools were quite dirty,the water was greyish ( you couldn't see the bottom) and they let people swim with clothes on(!),someone even had shoes on while swimming. Food was ok..not a lot options for children at the dinner. At the dinner many times we got our drinks after we've already eaten,so quite slow service. Evening entertainment was really nice and fun. Room was okay,some parts of the room oldish but the bed was good. We got one big problem...

”Diani Reef has a nice ”Grand Budapest Hotel” feel to it. It is somewhat run down, but we didn’t mind. The beach is great, pool and the gym are nice, monkeys very polite, breakfast excellent, parking handy, staff polite etc. I would save big bucks for other destinations and stay here. Dinner tasty, but overpriced.”
