”Retro Boutique is a great, small hotel near Diani Beach. I stayed in the deluxe double room on the top floor, and I was amazed at how large my room was. Most if not all the rooms have a balcony, but my room had two balconies. One in the front of the room and one in the back of the room. The water pressure in the bathroom was good, the A/C was cold, and the wifi was fast. My bed also had a mosquito net, but I don't think it was necessary. ”The breakfast included us amazing. Eggs made to order, sausage/bacon, yogurt, fruit, juice, the best coffee I had in Kenya, and a wonderful selection of breads. The staff was lovely… each and every one. The pool is small but well cared for and clean. I liked being off the beaten track and yet only a couple of blocks away from the beach. I was traveling solo so for safety paid a local to walk me back to the hotel after dinner on the beach. I was very sad to leave this little heaven”

”With this price range you would expect everything to be perfect but this resort has still a lot of things to be worked on. Overall experience is nice, service is good, breakfast is great. But... wifi is not working, with the cleaning of the rooms there is always something wrong; towels replaced for one person only, water floating on the floor, soaps are finished and not replaced. We used laundry service too and one of my shirts was missing and I got someone else's shirt. They could track mine...
