”This hotel is right in the Rapid City downtown and location is the best to explore the coffee houses and restaurants. Worked well for our 4th of july visit. The Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake and Needles are like 30-40 mins away. Highly recommended.”

”Right in the heart of the downtown area, it was a convenient and walkable distance to the downtown restaurants, parks and the Monument.”

”The most comfortable bed I’ve slept in so far on our drive across the country. Soft sheets, nice big towels, we loved the large pool and area. The lemon water and cookies in the foyer were such a nice touch and the breakfast and large eating area were lovely. Great location too close to good restaurants and shops. I’d stay here again for sure.”

”I had short notice for this trip and with it being a holiday weekend there wasn't much to choose from. The only thing I like about this location was that I could pull right up to the door to unload and load. I am sorry but the place is very run down and doesn't feel clean because of that.”

”They were undergoing renovations which were much needed. Hopefully once it is all renovated they will be better. It is quite noisy, however as there is no insulation and you can hear the people in the next room very loud!”

”Staff were friendly and helped when I needed assistance with options of what the area offered and with the computer. The evening dinners on Monday and Tuesday were amazing. Loved the options provided and the kitchen staff did a wonderful job always checking to see if any of the food options needed to be refilled. Love Staybridges hotels and have been to many throughout the USA.”

”Clean building, friendly staff. Loved our big room and full sized kitchen! Pool looked alot bigger in pictures, only goes up to 4ft deep, but my young kids didnt mind. Breakfast options were great. Nice hang out spot outside with a yard. Will definitely stay again on our next trip!”

”There was nothing unique I always stay at Hampton Inn, this hotel had the quality of most Hampton Inn's that I stay at. The staff, were good, the food was good ( lots of choices). hotel was clean. I had no problems at all.”

”I liked that this place was outside the downtown area because it felt like a camping trip next to a lake, yet in close proximity to the festivities in downtown Rapid City with all the 4th of July events for the country's 250th celebration. Yes, it's an older property so furniture is "dated" but it's clean and quiet. Staff is always very helpful. Deb, Sandy, Dave were all friendly and accommodating with things needed for our 4-night stay. Guests are free to use the paddle boats which we took...
