”Melville Castle was such a highlight on our trip. The room was gorgeous, the bed was comfy, and shower was incredible. The entire castle was decorated for the holidays and it was so cozy and charming. We ate dinner in the restaurant and HIGHLY recommend. We will absolutely be back”

”Very modern kind of hotel. Everything was super but if I would have stayed longer than I did, I would have liked some closet to put my clothes in. The room has very limited place to keep clothes and other stuff.”

”I was a solo traveler visiting Edinburgh for the first time- I had originally booked a hotel on Victoria street but switched to the Horton for a more price convienent option. I’m very happy I did- I was only about a 10 minute walk from Victoria street and it was nice to not wake up right in the middle of all the tourists. I called the hotel ahead of time and explained I was a solo traveler so requested not to put me on a ground floor. They were very accommodating putting me on a second floor...

”Huone oli hyvin perustasoinen ja yleiskunto nuhruinen. Huoneiden osalta taso korkeintaan 3 tähteä, ei lähellekään neljää tähteä. Kokolattiamatto, jossa näkyi vanhat tahrat. Huone oli tilava, jossa erillinen WC ja suihkutila omanaan. WC:ssä ei ollut ollenkaan käsienpesuallasta, joka oli erittäin epäkäytännöllistä. Ainoa käsienpesuallas kylpyhuoneessa. Plussaa hiljaisuudesta, huoneeseen ei kuulunut ääniä käytävältä tai ulkoa, vaikka liikennettä hotellin vieressä. Hotellissa myös kiva lounge bar.”

”Das Personal war hervorragend! Obwohl wir eine extrem späte Anreise hatten, wurde auch um 22:55 noch auf uns gewartet und beim Einchecken geholfen; vielen Dank. Sehr zu empfehlen, sowohl was die Parkmöglichkeiten als auch die Zimmer angeht. Und das Allerbeste: Logistisch gesehen perfekt gelegen zwischen Edinburgh und Glasgow; thank you so much”
