âAlagoa is a lovely resort. Family friendly and also relaxing for a solo trip. For India this resort has good cleanliness & I would certainly recommend. Itâs a 5 minute walk from the beach which is a beautiful spot to relax in. Down side is the taxis are expensive and will do all they can to rip you off. Be prepared for a haggle war! Everything else is wonderful! â
âSuper close to the airport and very safe. Staff was extremely nice, wifi was great and free, place was clean, and breakfast was yummy. Recommend this place to anyone coming from a long trip to India. â

âWe just spent 4 nights in Sterling Goa Varca. The hotel is a 4* property but lack of detail in multiple things, especially cleanliness, decreases it's points. Also the quality vs. the 9000 Rs. / night price doesn't seem adequate. The clientele seems to consist mainly of Indian and Russian tourists so maybe they have a different standard for such hotels than westerners.

âMain problem is poor service. When we arrived, there was sand on our sheets so the sheets hadnt been changed. Called the reception to change the sheets and none came for one hour so I had to walk to reception and after that they changed the sheets.
The fame restaurant is horrible, the waiters were watching football together when we went there and they paid little attention to us. Food poor and overpriced.
Breakfast mainly indian food, really crowded and noisy environment.
