”Room was clean and basic with good shower in the bathroom. Relatively small room with dated decor and could do with a refresh. functional and adequate if you just need a bed for the night. Adjoining pub is nice inside with outside terrace and local beer brewed onsight. Quick taxi or 15 minute walk from the centre of Ashby De La Zouch. Really nice engaging staff”

”Nice Clean room staff very nice and friendly welcoming only things which could be improved on are the main carpets in corridors look a little tired but room was spotless and faultless. spot on and excellent value for money and no tea and coffee in room but they have made it free from bar downstairs. Id stay again without hesitation breakfast under £10 very good too ”

”After many years of attending this well appointed hotel finally i got an upgrade. The hotel is well situated for walks along Shakespeare's smug Trent. The Burton Bridge Brewery is over the road. Town centre a short walk. Parking more than adequate. I think if you can put up with the road noise of a weekend its one of the best hotels in town. ”The room was small and cozy, which was perfect for my short solo trip. It's walking distance to the train station, a supermarket, and several shops, pubs and restaurants. Only weirdness was having to check in and get room keys at the pub a couple doors down. This wasn't mentioned beforehand, but luckily the pharmacist nearby guided me in the right direction! ”
