”We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend.”

”This was our first stay at Go2 Portishead. We were welcomed by a nice receptionist. The room was clean with everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. The parking was convenient and nearby. We would recommend the hotel and hope to stay there again.”

”Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended”

”Convenient location off the motorway. Plenty of parking. Friendly check-in. Room was spacious, clean with large bed and well fitted bathroom with a decent shower. Good facilities in the room such as hair straightener and hair dryer but no kettle. Hot/ cold water is available at a tap in the corridor so be prepared to take your teapot to get water for a brew. Food is served at the adjoining 'diner' which was always busy. Not great options for vegetarians (a plant burger) but breakfast went did...

”This was my second stay at this hotel and I did notice some changes, some good, some not. My room looked refreshed, but it had no wall decor and seemed unfinished, but immaculately clean. There was nowhere comfortable to sit, but the bed was extremely good to sleep on. The outbuilding in which my room was situated had a large foyer, strangely decorated with two hard chairs and an ironing board. My room heater wouldn't turn on, and the receptionist told me it was centrally controlled and would...
