”Beautiful room with a lovely view to the Portree harbour. Close to everything (shops, pubs) and convenient location for exploring the area. I have no experience communucating with the staff, but they seemed to be easily reachable if I had needed something. Walls were really thin though, could hear everything from the room next door, but I didn’t mind that. ”

Beautiful location with spectacular views.
The cottage was very clean and provided everything we needed.
The breakfast at the hotel was so delicious and the staff was beyond accommodating.

The first night was very quiet, but the second night we heard talking from both sides of our room until 2am.
The bed wasn’t super comfortable.
The shower is really small.
I tried to communicate with the owners a few times and never got a response.

”Tricia was so lovely and accomodating! The place is perfect and spotless. Tricia recommended the Quiraing trail and it was easily the top 3 hikes we’ve done gobally! It’s also super close to the accommodation which makes it easy to get an early start. Would highly recommend a stay here for anything on Skye”

”The apt was clean enough. Felt a bit like being in a dormitory. The soap dispensers were half full. Ashtray with cigarette butts was left outdoors on the table and was filled with rain water. Most disappointing was the shower. It looked new, but did not work properly. Hot and cold and hot and cold water. Needs to be corrected. ”

”Ascrib’s View is a gem. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Skye. It’s nice to be away from the bustle of Portree, while still being close to many activities. We enjoyed hiking the Quirang and Fairy Pools, and had an amazing speed boat safari with Isle of Skye Seafari in Portree.
The cottage is peaceful and clean, with modern fixtures, a full kitchen and incredible views. Billy and Helen were very easy to communicate with and were very responsive. They also squeezed us in for a booking...
