”This was by far our favorite location. Beautiful view and great location. It was a little inconvenient to go upstairs to go to the bathroom. I also was a little shocked to see people sitting right outside our patio door having breakfast at 7am.”

”We’ve stayed in quite a number of short term rentals and can say that the Bothy has absolutely been our favorite! Fiona has thought of everything and we absolutely loved all the little touches. It was everything we needed. Great, fully stocked kitchen so we could cook healthy meals for ourselves and a very comfy bed to get much needed rest. She even offered to do a wash for us if we needed. We were honestly so sad to leave. Its proximity to Luss was a huge plus. Love the area!”

”De cottage van Catriona is fantastisch! Alles is aanwezig, het is zeer ruim, netjes en schoon en het ligt geweldig. Je hebt alle vrijheid en het uitzicht is fabuleus. We hebben genoten en zelfs gezwommen in het meer, 3 minuten lopen, onderaan de oprit. Het is erg rustig en er komt weinig verkeer langs. Catriona is bijzonder vriendelijk en helpt aan alle kanten. Ze heeft een overzichtelijk A4-tje met activiteiten in de buurt in het huis gelegd. E-lader voor de auto was erg handig. Een verblijf...

”What a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. On an arrival it was lovely to have a little welcome package and to find the cottage spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. No need to have brought wash liquid, toilet rolls etc. The surrounding area is fantastic and is convenient for local amenities.Wish we could have stayed longer. ”

”We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family.”
