”We got a great last minute deal. The hotel is easy to find with ample parking to the rear. We checked in and headed to our room. It was small but clean. It had a large smart TV, a large bed, coffee and tea making facilities, a clean and modern bathroom, a safe and complimentary water. I would have liked a wardrobe or hooks on the wall to hang up our clothes/ stow our luggage but it's not a deal breaker. The hotel had a pool and gym that we checked out but didn't use. ”Fabulous refurb, stayed here about 12 years ago the transformation is absolutely lovely! Stayed in a standard room, which is on the small size but beautifully decorated with everything you need. Particularly liked the L'Occitane toiletries in the stylish bathrooms. The restaurant and casual areas are very stylish, the food, atmosphere and staff were great, and Aberlady is just an adorable quiet location on the doorstep of 22 golf courses, beaches and fabulous walks. ”One if the staff went above and beyond when asked about laundry. She was amazing. She was also upset.to mearn that cleaning staff had left the dirty towels holding the door of our room open when we had checked in. She picked them up and took them away.. My husband really enjoyed the course. Due to the gale force winds he was not able to golf the 2nd day and he was disappointed. But that can be Scotland!. Due to the winds a brace should be available to keep windows open. A small feidge...
