”This resort is exquisite. It is located directly on the beach but also seems like it is in a jungle or Forest. The property is extremely well maintained and the staff was exceptional. We were given a room that we weren't exactly pleased with and they were able to accommodate our needs and provide us with a different room. We loved being able to walk around the property with our small child. I would come back anytime.”

”We were there opening weekend - property was super clean and staff was awesome. Wanted to watch March madness and forgot adapter - and the staff brought me a new adapter so we could watch the game. Very awesome.”

”We had the most amazing stay at Regatta Inn! It is on a beautiful piece of property right by the beach with bikes to take exploring around Folly. The breakfast was always delicious and there were always snacks, drinks, plus a fabulous happy hour available daily. The staff here are so kind and helpful! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back for sure.”

”It's a great hotel, but it's disappointing to find out that half the place is under construction and most amenities are not available. Wish that had been shared prior to the reservation and they should not be charging a daily resort fee either. ”

”Everything from check-in to check out can be done remotely and still the office staff was super helpful for our late night arrival. The room was clean, bed was nice. Had no cups for coffee or water and no Kleenex in the room. Went out and bought some.”

”Great hotel! The room was spacious and clean. Very nice staff. Great location. The only negative is that we could hear the restaurant music from our room so it was a little annoying. Otherwise it was great!!”

”One elevator did not work the entire time we were there and my wife was nervous about the other elevator having problems. The onsite restaurant does not serve breakfast. Pool”

”The motel was in a lovely setting, oak trees with Spanish moss, a nice dock on the creek. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Several good restaurants close by, Prime Steakhouse, a little pricy but very good. Ciao Bella Italian great. We enjoyed our stay here.”

”Well-appointed room! Spacious layout with high quality finishes. The staff went above and beyond showing the highest level of hospitality. Cannot recommend The Nickel enough.”

”Our original room we booked had an issue so they changed our room unfortunately but wavered the parking fee. The inn is in a great location within walking distance to king street. The room has a wonderful basket full of goodies and drinks in the mini fridge that was complimentary which was wonderful! Enjoyed the wine and champagne they offered in the afternoon and evening for free. Lovely inn and highly recommend.”
