”We were there on a hot/ humid day. The room was not only clean, but nice and cool when we arrived and remained that way all night.”

I’ve been here before but this time the room was very unacceptable. The older front desk staff member is excellent, very nice and caring!!”

”Very close with to Mayo Clinic with parking, yet reasonably priced. Which was our main priority. Only complaints were the loud AC unit, that we just unplugged while sleeping. And could not figure out what shows were playing on TV channels. Next time we will have to ask the front desk.”

”Wonderful property with a few caveats. The amenities are great, and the location is ideal for St Mary’s. The apartment is large and parking safe and easy. That said, the bed is very hard and pillows aren’t great. The vents also hit directly on your face in the bed, so that was hard to get used to. I would stay again but only if I brought my own pillows and blankets”

If you are a Mayo patient, there is a shuttle but it serves many hotels. Workable but runs less often and takes longer than dedicated shuttles at some nearby hotels.”

”We were there for the mayo for 5 days. The room was very clean and bed was comfy. It was like a mini apartment with a full size fridge, kitchenette with all the utensils, couch, and desk We had no issues with any equipment. no ovens if you are thinking pizzas. The bath and shower was roomy. 4 grocery stores close by for meal and snack planning. 3 restraunts within walking. I would stay again and recommend to others.”

”Loved the space. The staff were great. I left my kindle and they were great about saving it for me to pick up on my trip back home. The breakfast was good. Would stay there again if I go back to Rochester.”

”Staff were always friendly and helpful. Hot tub and pool were a plus for me. Did not need to go outside for any of my appointments at Mayo Clinic. Easy access to everything. Lord Essex restaurant has a great breakfast. Highly recommend the Kahler Grand Hotel.”
