”My partner, sister and myself had an amazingly relaxing stay at the cottage. Our favourite spot was the back deck. There is beautiful view across the river to paddocks with cows grazing, and the sound of the river running below. Our thanks to John for a wonderful stay. ”

”Beautiful house in a beautiful rural setting, so peaceful, we were sorry it was only one night. Outdoor shower is a must. Sally and Simon were superb hosts, super helpful and friendly. Sally's homemade treat was very much appreciated and we had a lovely walk around the farm, meeting the lovely dogs. Would highly recommend staying at this piece of paradise.”

”A clean and tidy location near Ahuriri and the port. The buzz of the port action was great to see, and the accommondation was clean, tidy and well appointed with everything we needed. A short easy walk to the cafes at Ahuriri. Good to have a break away.”

”This is a true old style Kiwi bach, a bit scruffy and well worn/used. But that is its beauty and authenticity. Staying by the beach in a more remote part of Aotearoa, I do not want a super-swish, Auckland style apartment. The area is stunningly beautiful, especially Whanarua Bay itself. But there seem to be undertones of local conflict over who can fish, how and where. So be careful and sensitive.”

”Really nice property in central Napier. Easily walkable to many attractions. Very large and spacious with a good kitchen that was well appointed. The tennis court was a nice addition (the rackets and balls provided could have been better, but not a big deal). Overall would highly recommend!”

”3rd time down for 5 days and loved every minute. Fabulous hosts and perfect set up for a weekend or short stay. Spectacular views from the large windows in the bedroom. Relax on the deck and enjoy uninterrupted stunning views. It’s clean, comfortable and safe. Three minute walk to the fabulous white sandy beach that our dog loved as much as we did. Highly recommend. ”
