”Great hotel for visiting customer in Diss. Leisure facilities were very run down/unavailable. However, I had a very friendly check-in, a wonderful room, and the absolute difference was Lee in the bar. He was super attentive, busy, personable (we could have talked for hours about cars) and went the extra mile to look after me. He's a credit to your hotel!”

”It's the people (for me) that make a place. Don't get me wrong, the location, and Caistor Hall itself are both great, but the service we received made this an exceptional experience. We felt right at home, it's posh but without airs & graces, perfect. The pub & restaurant have an amazing wine selection, a superb selection of excellent beers from Lacons and fabulous food. ”An old-fashioned hotel in an old building but there's nothing wrong with that - it has character, unlike a lot of modern anodyne ones. Service was exceptional: accommodating and friendly. It is located dead in the centre of the old town and is ideally placed for exploring it (and for staggering back from the pubs!). It also has a well regarded Thai restaurant on the ground floor, so no need to go far if you don't want to. There is free parking at the back. I would certainly stay again if I was...

”We stayed for 1 night at this gem of a place! We arrived quite late but managed to get into the restaurant just before they finished serving. The food was outstanding! Not an extensive menu. A few pub classics such as fish and chips. I had an open fish pie which was delicious. We had breakfast the next morning which was equally as good. We did say it was a shame we didnt live nearer as we'd definitely return for a meal. The rooms were recently modernised we were told and were lovely! A good...
