”Teviot Cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great spot being walking distance to the High Street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. It was good having a second toilet downstairs. It would be helpful if there were some hooks in the bathroom either behind the door or on the wall.”

”We stayed for a week in February, and it was fabulous. The weather was a bit damp on and off, but the Grooms Bothy was always warm and welcoming. (I want underfloor heating!). It’s well equipped, close to Kelso for everything you need, and in a quiet and pretty location. The owners live next door, and a with their 2 little dogs are friendly and on hand if you need something. The welcome pack of milk, snacks and wine was a lovely touch. The Borders are lovely, we really enjoyed travelling...
