”Flawless. We loved our stay at The Ship Inn and I strongly recommend it for any stay in Rye. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of town. The pub is beautiful and historic and the room itself modern and faultlessly clean. Some little details I really appreciated: tea and coffee and kettle in the room (with oat milk sachets!), a deep bath, tv, desk fan and a very comfy, spacious bed. 10/10”

”We only stayed the one night, and would definitely book here again. The staff were extemely helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean and tidy. Our room could probably do with an update, but it was clean, spacious, and had a great view. Breakfast was very nice with a great choice of hot drinks and huices as well as both a cold selection buffet, and a cooked breakfast option, all included in our booking. Overall we were vey happy with our stay.”

”When you see reviews that say 10/10 Exceptional, half of you doesn't quite believe, the sceptic in me certainly didn't. But I was blown away by this hotel. Chris and Caroline were exceptionally friendly, the Hawkstone beer was a treat and breakfast was superb. The hotel was immaculate and Ideally located for town. Perfect. My only disappointment was that they are fully booked for when I return in September. ”

”We booked to stay for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed. We needed to arrive quite late and this was accomodated really well. The only downside was that the chalet was really warm, but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we revisit the area.”

”Nice two nights stay in a very good location. I especially loved the bathroom as it was spacious and with a view to the East Hill. The stairs are tricky if you have a large suitcase, but I got wonderful service and mine was taken down for me. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from within 500 m. The buses to the railway station run 200 m from the door so that’s also nice. ”

"Well, this is England and many things differs from Nordic style so we were very satisfied and understand and accept differencies. Corridors and public areas are very stylish but also little bit old fashioned..full carpets etc. and f.ex. why to have hot and cold water valves separated?.. Nice hotel anyway, nice location!"
