The cottage has all the necessities to stay in and enjoy a comfortable sleep in comfy beds and cosy night in to watch a movie. We loved the breakfast provisions and enjoyed exploring the property on our walks in the afternoon. Great location and only 15 minutes away from main attactions in nearby suburbs. ”Nice property, lovely little cottage. Nice extras such as the robes, appreciated as it was cold weather. Fire was great and had back up heating with the split system. Hosts were responsive, we only have one suggestion, a sandwhich press to make toasties, by the fire 😊 We enjoyed our stay comfy bed, nice linen very clean, we will be back. Thank you”

The property and cottage are amazing, with the manicured grounds and animals to feed and a very gracious host, who supplied a full breakfast for everyday of our stay and even took us on a buggy ride around the grounds, that our son enjoyed greatly. ”We had such a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. Everything is in good nic, very good quality bedding and kitchenware. A lot of personal touches - A home away from Home. Fireplace works a treat to take the chill off. The reverse cycle also warms up the place in a jiffy. The kids got stuck into the games and puzzles as it rained most of our stay. Great location - walking distance, along the gorgeous river, into town or the caravan park. We would definitely book again.”

”We planned a long weekend away with 2 other couples (all late 50’s) and required accommodation suitable. We were all extremely happy with Cumquat Cottage, it was comfortable, clean, adequately catered for three couples and great location. We attended a concert at Rochford Winery, had an afternoon at 4pillars Gin distillery and finished with Breakfast in the Main Street, whilst the other times enjoyed the ambiance of the cottage in Autumn. Plenty of room to have a drink, enjoy some platters,...

”We booked the property for a weekend to celebrate a 30th. Only good things to say about this property and the host, Frank. Everything as pictured in the listing. The property has some of the most incredible views I’ve seen. Despite its location, you really feel secluded. The entertainment room was the perfect space for everyone to be together and do what they wanted and it was so spacious. The pond is a natural pool which was amazing! Host was very responsive and kind.”

”Kalorama was a great stay for our group of friends looking for an Easter retreat, the weather was bucketing down the entire time and the weatherproofing and insulation was marvelous and kept us so cozy and warm, with beautiful views over the misty Dandenong forests and morning sat on the deck with some very friendly kookaburras. Trips into Olinda and Sassafras for antiqueing and shopping required some careful navigating of windy roads but certainly doable for confident drivers. The bedrooms were...

”Considerate stay, we were welcomed by clean and furnished stay with everything u need - clean sheets, clean toilet, the cottages provided extra pillows for my pregnant wife which I’m really pleased. My young children had so much fun with cockatoo and kangeroo spotting. We could hang out around the cottage with everything in one spot, cooking, juices, condiments provided when we forget ours. Really pleased with the stay”
