Vain muutaman askeleen päässä rannalta ja ET on ylitettävä PALMETTO ST !! Tosiasiallisesti ET tarvitse ylittää päällystetty tie ollenkaan!

Hän sijaitsee erittäin toivottavaa Point Street, jossa on pääsy (ja upea näköala) Sound rannalle ja kaikki sen ihania rauhallisuutta ja hiljaisuutta.

Tuo perhe; Tarjoamme 4 makuuhuonetta ja 4 kylpyammeet ja nukumme yhteensä 10.

Kun käyttäjä tulee kotiin olet tyytyväinen meidän valoisa tilava keittiö täydellinen loma!

On koko perhe kokoontuu yhteen ja valmistella sen suuren lowcountry ateria, että et koskaan ole aikaa kokata kotona ja istua meidän suuri ruokapöydän ja nauttia siitä. JA vuodesta 7.11.11 meillä on nyt kaksi jääkaapit! Meidän keittiö, ruokasali ja perhehuone kaikilla on kaunis rauhallinen näkymä Sound.

Nauttia siitä, että kirja (tai suosikki lehteä) olet halunnut lukea ruudulla kuistilla (toinen kahdesta näytön kuistia) tai mennä johonkin kaksi terassit ja rentoutua yksi lepotuoleja ja ottaa torkut. Se lomasta!

Vie lapset leikkiä rannalla ja myöhemmin palata ja ottaa kuuma suihku ulkona suihkuhuone; lapset rakastavat sitä (aikuiset myös)!

Like isäntä cookouts? Muualla päätason meillä on vielä toinen suuri näyttö kuistilla mittatilaustyönä taulukon istuin koko perheelle, kun sinulla on hauskaa cookout. Jälkeenpäin pelata Bocci tai jalkapallo; Meidän piha on riittävän suuri kaikille siitä! Tarvitsen lopettaa aikaa? Ei ongelmaa; meillä on televisio jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa!

  • A very early morning outing at Botany Bay on Edisto Island. I had to start from my hotel at 3 AM to make it to this location before dawn. Botany Bay Plantation is a nature preserve and has regulated visitor hours. Gates open 30 minutes before sunrise - I wish they'd open a little sooner as the golden hour is pretty much more than half way done by the time one can make it to the beach. Nevertheless, it's a great location to visit at sunrise, especially if there are high clouds to add drama. Recommended to visit when the tide is ebbing as you then get the shadows of the trees, which to my eyes add more depth to the image. On this day, there was a bank of low clouds that prevented too much color but it was a great sunrise to witness nonetheless. The trees have so much character and add so much to the image. It's hard to look at the remnants of these trees and not imagine the onslaught they've withstood at the hands of mother nature. #WeekendGetAwayForTheFamily #colorful #USA #weekend #treetrove #blue

Nice older home with a lot of space for a large family

We enjoyed our stay at the Simmons Gamecock. The house was roomy and nicely furnished. The new deck and screened in porch was a great place for our family to hang out in the mornings and evenings. The house is older, but in good shape. There is a small view of the ocean from the porch and deck areas. The overall location was good for a non beachfront home. The two nearby beach accesses allowed cars and golf carts to park, which added to the amount of people on this part of the beach. We had a little difficulty with checking in at our scheduled time. After email chats and several calls, someone unlocked the door for us and changed the access code. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

A wonderful view and home layout

We enjoyed the porch and view and the overall layout of the house was perfect for our family. There is a lot of repair work that is needed and the furniture and amenities are very worn, but we were still very comfortable.

Love this place!

Plus Location, 4 bathrooms, large commons area, screened in porch, big kitchen, 2 refrigerators, location, well furnished kitchen except containers with lids, and location…it is fantastic. Cons Needs a little TLC (furniture a little worn, cabinets need tightening at doors), need more furniture in the common areas so everyone can sit in front of the tv, beds could use new mattresses. Overall, this is a fantastic house and we spent two weeks enjoying it thoroughly! We will be back!

Family Fun

The house was perfect for my family, having several bedrooms and bathrooms worked well for everyone. Close to the beach. Did need repairs to the porch screen and cleaning of the downstairs porch area . Peaceful and relaxing.

WE HAD A GREAT STAY!

The property is very spacious. Lots of parking for large families. Love the fact that every bedroom has it's own bath. Needs a few minor repairs in the kitchen. Overall a great property!

The cabinetry is coming apart. The screen porch was loose in many spots. Beds not very comfortable. Carpet had many stains. One was from a leak that occurred right before we arrived. Just needs some TLC to get her back in shape. The location was fabulous and the house has a lot of space. It was perfect size for my family.

Birthday week at beach

Fun place to spend a week at Edisto. House convenient to beach, golf and restaurants. The house is very open and has wonderful screened porches. It also has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. No problems at all. Would definitely rent again.

Great house and fabulous location!

House and location are just beautiful! House itself could use a little updating and maintenance here and there, but overall we were very comfortable and we had a wonderful time. Beautiful beach is just steps away, and the two big hammocks on the back screen porch with a view were the absolute BEST! Eat at Whaley’s nearby - such amazing food and totally laid back atmosphere!

Love the fact that there were two refrigerators in the house, which was very helpful .

The house was beautiful. Just a short walk to the beach. The porch needed some minor repairs, attaching the screen. The rails on the deck facing Point Street were slightly loose, which was concerning considering that we had small children. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay. The only other minor issue that we had was that there were some lights that needed bulbs but there were no other bulbs in the house to replace them with. A great house to stay in and enjoy the beach.

Great for the money

3 queen bedrooms all have on-suite bathrooms and are basically the same. The 4th BR 2 twin beds have the hallway bathroom. The kitchen and living room are one open area. Good size. Then 2 bedrooms flank each side. We stayed with 2 other families and did not feel on top of each other. The walk to the beach is minimal. The house is probably about 100 feet to the beach access, very doable, and fine for multiple trips. Beach is nice, calmer then other parts as it is close to sound. The traffic on this part is also minimal. Right near bike trail. My only issue and its minimal is the kitchen is a little outdated, but served its purpose and we cooked every night. I would definitely do again.

Love this place!

Simmons Gamecock was close to the beach and within walking distance to a bar and grill. It was quiet, roomy and just what we needed. Two hammocks on a screened porch were a favorite place to relax. I would recommend this place to my friends!

Great location!

If you just can not swallow the price of direct beach front rentals then you will be happy with this home. Our kids could run back and forth to the beach and we did not have to worry about them crossing Palmetto Blvd. It is just beside a beach access and just one row back from beach. Close enough to hear the waves but enough money left in the budget to eat....;0) The home has plenty of room and the pictures just don't do it justice. All rooms have plenty of space and the main rooms are huge. If I had to fuss about anything I would say that our bed was NOT comfortable and it could use some light blocking curtains. Also could use some cleaning in the downstairs screened in porch. It wasn't really usable to us the way it was and seemed very musty smelling. But other than those few things we loved it.
