”Fabulous property that feels like a remote getaway but has lovely amenities and nice touches of rustic luxury. This hotel is 5 years old but feels brand new. The restaurant is excellent. The included breakfast buffet is one of the very best I’ve ever had. They are building a spa near the lake. The hike around the lake is peaceful. Will definitely be back to this hotel.”

”We stayed in room 213. The room could use a refresh. Chipped wood in the bathroom. The mattress was so old that you sunk into the mattress and couldn't move.
The staff were helpful and attentive. The DJ was terrific and fun.”

”We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least. ”If you are allergic to a cat, there is a lot of cats… I booked through Expedia. Upon arrival, the front desk couldn’t find my reservation and insisted on creating a new one with my card. After much insistence, they located it but had no room ready, forcing me to wait.
Placed in a room with a strong urine smell (likely dog) in the bathroom. No room number signs in the hallway, and the same odor was in the main first-floor bathroom. No Wi-Fi password provided.
Breakfast was okay. Photos on Expedia...
