”The property was beautiful, totally loved it. Bed was comfortable, sitting room small but comfortable and loved the outside. A lot of amenities. Two things to be aware of, as mentioned in the description, there is no shower just a tub and there is no hose attachment to the tub faucet (I assume to prevent people making a mess with the water), so could be tricky. And second, the stairs and/or path to the space is a bit rough, steps are big and steep (mind u I am only 4'9), and if u go around...

Breakfast was amazing. We loved the fresh fruit, homemade blueberry muffins, and fresh bread and oatmeal with toppings. Scrambled eggs and toast too. Very comfy stay. We'll be back! Close to The Adirondacks hikes we'd planned.”

”We loved our stay at the Grandview Lake Placid. Enjoyed the powerful hot tub. Enjoyed the restaurant. Enjoyed a sitting area by a fireplace. The hotel location is excellent and the view from balcony rooms is outstanding. Dog friendly. The only complaint is that the toilets flush SO loudly that once people start waking up, it is all I heard. Earplugs fixed that.”

”There was only one restaurant available for dinner and we were seated next to an anniversary party of about 35 people with several young kids. The party should have been in a private dining area as it was really awkward being seated right next to them. While there was some humor in it (they brought us a piece of the cake) it spoiled our dinner. Additionally the food wasn’t great. My husband’s salmon was over cooked and my country pie was not made correctly so they comped it. Also, we made the...

”The place is unique, but they lose the quality of the careful details in the actual apartment. Yes, they did great with the design of the living experience and the amenities, but when it came to the actual facilities of the apartment living, it lacks and is very similar to a college dorm apartment. As a Designer in Manhattan coming here and expecting a Designer hotel, it truly lacks the expertise when it comes to the apartment.”
