”The property’s best features are its location in Elizabethtown New York and that it has a wonderful restaurant onsite. I’ve been going to the Deers Head Inn for almost 20 years and this is the first time I found the rooms needing some attention both cleanliness-wise and upkeep - e.g., replacing broken items like blinds that don’t work and in my room, a rusty toilet brush set. Otherwise same lovely location.”

”Absolutely gorgeous property! Exactly as described, and even more relaxing in person! I loved the fire pit, the view from the porch and the sounds of nature in the backyard. The inside was so cute and cozy and made me wish I could live there permanently. 10/10 would stay here again. Elizabethtown is also a quaint little town that was close to great hiking!”

”I mean for the price you get a bed and bathroom. Considering where the property is located, there is not that much around. However you do pay a premium price. I am sure in the 50s this might have been a rocking spot, however, it is highly overpriced even for high season. Could have found similar in the Placid area. At least the bed was like sleeping on plywood.”
