”What a gem of a place! Beautiful original pub building. Bedroom was spacious and clean. We had a room with a double and a single bed. The double was a bit too hard for us, but the room has everything you need, so can't complain. Breakfast was really impressive and everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We feel like we've found a gem and will definitely use again when we've got a gig in Manchester.”

”This hotel was the first stop we made when traveling from Canada. Unfortunately we only booked for one night however it was worth it! It was great to Uber from the airport and just spend our first evening in. We checked in, ate dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the hydrotherapy amenities of the hotel. I booked this hotel specifically for the hydrotherapy knowing that after a long day's worth of travel it would be a great way to start our vacation. The only thing was we were not given...

”TV didn’t work no sleep as party next room no night staff on call to sort issue out, the photos on site are NOT the same as on site would not say again absolutely the worse how there still in business I don’t know”

”Really big, lovely clean rooms. Fantastic value for money and breakfast was superb. We stayed for a concert at Co op Live which was a 15 minute taxi ride away. Highly recommend and would definitely stop again.”

”Spotlessly clean, wonderful hosts, excellent (and huge!) breakfast. Lovely towpath walk along the canal into the town centre. Only marked down because when we booked, the room was described as en suite when in fact the shower room was separate, shared and up a steep flight of stairs. ”

”The room was clean. However, the bathroom had hair in the bathtub and sink. The bathroom was quite small, so it was difficult to maneuver around. Check-in staff were lovely, but unfortunately, it went downhill quite quickly. The ladies were rude, as well as a gentleman. You would think they were being forced to work there. I stayed for 2 nights; I wouldn't return.”

”This place is fine, but not great. Whilst it has lots of character, the weak and unpredictable shower was a definite detractor for me, and the bed was oddly short so me feet were off the end. Rooms were well appointed, but a few dubious carpet stains made sure you knew they'd been occupied before.”

”It was a cosy cabin with everything we wanted, views of woodland on the other side across the path was the canal, plenty of bars & restaurants to choose from in Marsden.”

”Room was clean, no visible parking and noone to ask when returning with the car at 11.30pm. Took 20minutes to check in because the boss wasnt around and he wanted cash until I refused to go to a cash machine. Felt sorry for the lady as it wasnr her fault, just lazy boss. ”
