”Excellent hotel. Beautiful character room with good facilities and spotlessly clean. Very helpful and friendly staff, especially welcoming at check-in and although busy, they showed us to the room. Would definitely recommend, we will make it our go to hotel in North Yorkshire.”

”We attended a birthday party. The hall was nice. We had an evening meal at the hotel, which was absolutely delicious. The room was quite disappointing, needing updating. The bedside lamps didn't work, but the staff were lovely”

”We were refused service at the restaurant, when we told staff we were willing to wait they said no point you probably won’t get a table. Then we asked if we could eat in our room and they said no. Effectively giving us no food options we had to order pizza as we are unfamiliar with the area and there was nothing within walking distance.”
