”Location of hotel is ideal as it's in the town centre. Reception is nice and welcoming. Check in was simple. Our room was great with a lot of space. Bed was comfy and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was really good with a wide selection of hot and cold food. I booked this hotel on the basis it had a swimming pool and spa and the photo of the hotel is a photo of the pool, so I assumed as a customer I would have use of the pool for the duration of my stay, but apparently not. ”The hotel is clean and rooms are clean and comfortable there is beautiful walks we took our dog and he loved it the only thing I could say is that it’s £25s a night for the dog to stay which I think is a bit pricey but overall the staff couldn’t be anymore helpful and friendly the hotel is clean and well looked after ”

”Very disappointing to arrive on site a 1845 and discover that there was no restaurant facilities and no bar available for a drink. The booking confirmation stated that both were open 11 till late, but it's actually 6pm when the restaurant closes. There is an expensive shop open to buy student type food, but we didnt fancy pot noodle when we were hoping to be dining in the restaurant. Very misleading information. ”

”My Husband I stayed at the Mercure Hotel for one night to go to a concert at the Utilita Stadium. the hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. It was warm and room facilities were good. There was a kettle, tea bags (no biscuits) coffee, iron and board, hairdryer, shampoo and gel. Something good, something to improve
"Staff were very helpful, accessibility was very good. Cleaning the room wasn´t very good; needed to go ask towels, bath mats, suger, coffee. Also needed to give feedback to keep objects at same place, not moving them (blind). They had a wedding parties and music was very loud till early morning. This disturbed our sleep."
