”Great location, staff were very helpful. Was a nice touch that they put on a free shuttle into Salcombe. They also provided complimentary gin and ice and slice which we thought made the stay even more unique. ”

”Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area.
There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours.”

”We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment.
They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise.
The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away.
It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet.
The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk.
I would highly recommend this place.”

”Wo fange ich an?! Wir wollten unbedingt in ein B&B für unseren ersten Urlaub in England. Jetzt sind wir sicher, dass die Messlatte so hoch ist, dass kein anderes jemals daran anknüpft. Wir wurden von Dave und Tonny herzlich an der Tür empfangen, solange Tonny uns Sekt einschenkte, trug Dave unsere Koffer hoch. Die beiden waren Stewards in der First &Business class namhafter Airlines. Und sie wie sie damals ihre Gäste on Boarding verwöhnt hatten, und genau so verwöhnen sie ihre B&B Gäste. Beide...

”Its high end with great decor and fab spa facilities. Our stay was somewhat spoiled by drunken guests and their friends in the next room making excessive noise and shouting between 12.30-2.30 am, keeping us awake, security was called twice to try and resolve and did offer us a rom change in the middle of the night which was not practical. On speaking to Harry the manager it appears this was not the only case that evening. The hotel should consider introducing a quiet policy after 12 with...

The outside needs some TLC as grass wasn’t mown and woodwork needed some attention but inside was lovely”
