Great location, just a stone’s throw from the main beach in Torquay. The flat had all the amenities we needed for cooking, which was a plus.
Unfortunately, there were a few things that let the stay down. The dining table only seats two people, despite the flat accommodating four. This meant our children had to sit at the table while we ate standing at the kitchen counter.
Although the toilet looked clean, there was a noticeable smell of urine. The...
”We have just got back from our one night stay at RobinHill Hotel. We had two four bed rooms as we went to see a show at the Princess Theatre.
Firstly the owner Erica and her staff were excellent. Super welcome. Hospitality second to none. The rooms were very comfortable cosy and clean. The breakfast was fabulous. We could not fault this hotel on anything.
Even the location was perfect. A ten minute walk to the town and theatre.

”Lovely, spacious rooms, environment considered (no silly plastic cups/shower caps). I saw the pool and jacuzzi water being tested twice whilst we were there.
Only thing was that we had to pay for parking, but that was because we booked with a third party. Book with hotel.
Breakfast lovely, maybe a few more pastry/bread choices needed.”
”Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area.
There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours.”
”Property location is great with free transport to Salcombe town or Ferry from beach adjacent to hotel. Hotel room/accommodation had great view but was small. This was disappointing when considering the tariff for two rooms /4 nights accommodation. The bedroom lacked soundproofing, disturbed nights sleep for three nights due to noise from young children in next room, spoke to receptionist with little response! Continental/Buffet Breakfast included was very satisfactory and good.
