”The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot. The pool is NOT 24 hrs as advertised and you have to pay. The property can be a bit difficult to find because the name plaque of the plot is covered by an overgrown hydrangea. If you use what 3...

”Hotellin ikä näkyy lähes jokapaikassa. Remontointi oli käynnissä, joka on todella tarpeen. Henkilökunta "kirjavaa" käytökseltään. Osa henkilökunnasta oli ystävällistä, ja osa heistä kyllästyneen ja välinpitämättömän oloisia. Meillä on matkoilla tarkoitus nukkua hotellissa, joten hinta/laatusuhde on ok.”

”Ovoid this hotel like the plague, it’s dated and needs extensive refurbishment, checked in online still waited 45 minutes to get a key, lifts are hit and miss if they work, room allocated was fine initially , seagull noise nothing you can do about that, TV didn’t work water started pouring down the wall, I assume someone on the next floor was having a shower, our shower controls fell to pieces, eventually given another room with what has to be the smallest shower cubicle ever, the extractor fan...

”The staff were incredibly professional and helpful. I couldn't fault any one of them but I would mention abby particularly. The service was impeccable and the food was very food. Breakfast was so good and there was a lot of choice. We had a pool room which was perfectly positioned next to the pool which was clean with loungers and seating. I would highly recommend a visit here and we will certainly visit again.”
