”I love the room. It was spotless and well laid out. We had a lot of room. The balcony was wonderful. The view was wonderful. The keyless doors were great too. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. The staff was very helpful and lovely. The little store on site had a lot of nice last minute things. Amenities, drinks, snacks, souvenirs, and toiletries. The drawbacks were pretty minor but here they are: the water pressure in the shower was very low, so don't use a whole lot of soap....

I was very disappointed with my room. The decor was outdated very old and rusted, horrible. Housekeeping was poor. I will not be going back to that hotel.”

”We stayed eight nights and it was okay. I was shocked by the fact that guests have to pay twenty dollars a day to use an umbrella on the beach, and you only get one free lounger, your travel partner will have to pony up 15 bucks. No coffee maker in any of the rooms. Our sliding glass door to the balcony was broken, and we only had WiFi in our room for about 5 minutes the entire time. The pictures are very inaccurate, the place is in shambles from hurricane damage and it’s a bit depressing when...

”The Sandcastle on the Beach in St. Croix is an ideal location for travelers. The hotel is well kept, staff is extraordinary, food is delicious and the owner's obviously love hosting their guests. The beach is pristine and about 10 steps away from Sandcastle. Sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, lavish beach towels; all are there for guests. I also appreciated the adults only status.”

”I believe this property is 3 1/2 stars and I normally stay at 4 and 5 star resorts but this place is just quirky enough to make me curious. I'm glad I was because I was pleasantly surprised.
