We loved the private patio and the automatic screen for shade was a plus. This beautiful location can't be beat - and so close to our favorite places: Ventana Canyon, Sabino Canyon, Tohono Chul Gardens, and the east side of Saguaro National Park. ”The Casa Hibiscus was an amazing place to stay while in Tucson for Work/Fun for a week. From the stocked coffee and bagels for breakfast each morning to the bicycle I used to commute around, everything was taken care of. Getting in and out of the casita was simple and I could go on my own schedule. Elizabeth is an amazingly gracious host and made sure I was fully taken care of. I'll certainly be back someday!”

”The guest house was neat and clean. The pool was unheated and was not able to use. it was located 17 miles from Tucson in the desert, which was very nice, but the road to get there was very primitive and had large mud holes that where hard to navigate. All in all the stay was very nice.”

”The unit has a wonderful deck/patio to enjoy the morning sun, and night views of the city. Martha and Jean-Claude are great hosts and very accommodating and helpful. The pool is gorgeous, and because the property does not have a lot of units, it feels more like a private pool, rather than a shared one. This unit does not have an in suite washer/dryer, but there is one available on site, so no problems there. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone that wants a relaxing stay, but close...

Minor and easily fixable things to do
"This hotel was couple of weeks ago a Best Western and now they have a new owner and name — it seems that the new owners are still learning how to run a hotel: staff is friendly and helps, but there were minor issues with cleaning (some beard hairs in the sink) and breakfast (the food run out and they didn’t notice in until one customer went to kitchen). Some administration workflow should be also brushed, I was accidentally double charged both via Hotels.com and the hotel as I arrived one day late due to cancelled flight (and called the hotel but they did not know how to log it in the system). Don’t get me wrong: I liked the place and stayed there two times on my trip. Fix these and the hotel will be awesome."

"remontoitu siisti motelli. aamupala hiukan niukka. ainoa miinus oli ettei meille mainittu bändistä joka oli surkea ja soitti myöhään ja kovaa. nukkuminen oli hankalaa siinä metelissä hankalaa. respaa ei kiinnostanut kun kysyimme milloin bändi lopettaa. oli jopa tyly. pihassa myös ruokarekka, mistä sai ilalla ruokaa"
