”I truly enjoyed my three nights stay at The Gothic House. It is lovely and dainty, clean with comfortable bed/pillows. Unlike one review I read, I did not experience any in-shower hot water issues after I inquired about it. ”

”Everything was great, the only small gripe I had was that it took a long time for the hot water to reach temperature for the shower, even using the electric boost option. Host was really helpful and room excellent and spacious for a solo traveller which was much appreciated.”

”A beautiful pub and inn with a gorgeous beer garden next to the sounds of a babbling brook. The room was full of character and spacious enough for the three of us, but as it is an old building, we could hear the other guests walking and talking the floor above us. The pub was nice for dinner. Thanks!”

”Clarissa, the new manager of the property, made our stay fun and easy! Our room even had its own patio! She sorted out dinner reservations and transportation so that our stay was flawless. Breakfast was delicious (and huge!), served exactly as we asked, enabling us to get on with our day. I highly recommend this property!”

”Went for my partners 60th birthday to go to sandown races, convenient by only being a 25 min walk from the lodge to the gates of the racecourse. Edwina was lovely, very friendly and the sort of person you could have a laugh with. Breakfast was vwry nice and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Very reasonable prices. ”
