”Our last 3 stays here have been a mixed bag. We’ve stayed in one remodeled room we loved, one room that was a disappointment, and this one which was “OK.” This time we stayed in #110. It was on the ground floor and close to the lobby, pool, and ice machine. From our room you could walk straight out onto the grass by the river. There was a great view. Unfortunately the tile floor was very dirty, and quickly turned feet and socks brown. The rest of the room was fine. The beds were comfortable and...

”Clerk tried to rent me a double queen room when my reservation clearly stated 1 King bed. She reluctantly rented me a King room after I showed her my reservation.”

”Great location with local fish markets and close to all the stye parks and amazing sunset. Loved our night in Charleston harbor”

”I’ve never stayed in a motel that didnt have air conditioning. It was stuffy inside my room when I arrived.i opened the windows and door and it was better. This older motel is beside a very busy road and the noise is bad. It quieted down after dark and the temperature dropped outside so I could close the door and windows. I couldn’t get the tv to work. I don’t think I would choose this motel again.”

”Good Keurig, TV easy to use, other Motels have complicated TV. Good light inside the room. Nice check in.”

”Front desk attendant was very friendly. Room was acceptable for the price point. However, there were not enough plugs by the beds! I have a CPAP and it was a challenge getting everything plugged in for the night.”

”It needs to be remodel. It’s extremely old exterior stairs falling apart floors are nasty. The building is falling apart.”

”The view from the ocean front rooms was incredible. The breakfast was hot and the breakfast service was very efficient. The rooms, cleanliness and general upkeep were average.”

”Our room was in the back and very quiet. The office staff was VERY polite and kind. We arrived quite late and left early the next morning. The hotel is not new, so shows some wear and tear and my socks picked up a fair bit of dirt, but it didn't seem unclean. The beds were comfortable.”

”Really friendly staff! Clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Appreciated real plates etc. Will stay again! ”

”I booked this stay quickly and was very disappointed when we arrived. The stairs going to the second floor were in need of serious repair. There was a bird nesting in the wall directly above our bathroom sink that made scratching sounds and chirping several times. The faucet was very difficult to pull on and shut off. No hangers. No breakfast included. Very disappointing stay.”

”The location is nice, with beach access, but the room we stayed in (in the main building) needs renovation...which is apparently coming up as the facility comes under new ownership.”
