”The room was outdated and should absolutely be renovated. The view from the balcony located next to the room was beautiful. The room was clean and sound proofing seems to be inadequate, but we had no issues as there were no neighbours and almost no traffic on the street next to the hotel. Breakfast was a very basic one.”
”Loved the balcony overlooking the slough. The room was large. Shower and provided toiletries were excellent. Beds comfy. Easy shopping with walking distance to Safeway and Fred Meyers. Staff was excellent, pleasant, prompt and helpful, when TV needed a reboot.”

”This was my 3rd visit here over the years. This year was the best. I had a room closest to the highway. It was noisier but I really liked the room and its cleanliness, how they decorated it and …I had ear plugs. They will need to renovate the bathroom but although dated, very clean and the whole place smelled clean.
I couldn’t have improved upon it. The beds & pillows were comfy. You can walk to everything. Harris beach is a few minutes north.

Okay, so I wasn’t expecting much, but this place actually had me impressed, bro. First off made here before and it used to need paint have a lot ono carpet. No carpet now win! No weird old carpet sprinkle smell mystery fuzz, just clean, solid floors that made the room feel way fresher than most coastal spots. 🙌
The bathroom was super clean, even if a little rusty in spots but come on, it’s the coast, that’s just part of the salt life....
”This was our fourth time at this property since 2001, and it is still first rate. New family ownership a couple years ago has led to upgrades in several areas (glass cabins, spa, sauna).
The location on the Rogue is great with a sweeping view of the river to the south. The restaurant is superb, though options are somewhat limited and pricey.
There are kayaks and other toys available. You can get picked up at their dock for a jet boat excursion up the river. Gold Beach is 15 minutes or less...
