”Daughter & I stayed 4 nights as a base to visit Nolin Lake & Mammoth Cave NP away from the tourist crowds. MCNP is 45 minutes away on scenic, rural roads. Best thing about this rental: access to the neighborhood boat ramp with adjacent swimming area, a 5 minute walk away or you can drive & park there. The bottom is sandy/rocky, not muck. ”Fishing Creek Cottage was exactly what my husband and I were hoping for in our trip to Lake Cumberland. A cozy, clean home away from home with beautiful furnishings, and a lake vacation vibe. ”My husband and I stayed a couple nights at this cozy rustic cottage. We enjoyed our stay very much. The air conditioning was superb. The cottage had a cabin feel outside and a home feel with all amenities inside. The ambiance and decorations were delightful. Full kitchen and able to cook meals for breakfast and dinner. Approximately 20 minute drive away from Mammoth Cave National Park. Host was available onsite but we had privacy. ”

”The charm of the old farmhouse was great. We enjoyed the house and it has modern conveniences. The animals were friendly. Only stayed two nights but I could see staying here a week or more. Close enough to Bardstown and away from any city traffic. Very comfortable.”
