”The hotel is in beautiful surroundings, wery easy make some hiking around the near mountains or take a bus to Glencoe/Ben Nevis area. The rooms were a little out of date, some renovation neede there. But downstairs is in better condition, the restauranta and bar area. The breakfast is really good, a lot of options and well cooked. ”The George was brilliant. We were travelling to Islay and it was intended as a stop off. We loved it! From the moment of our arrival, welcome from the staff was great, rooms lovely and bar / restaurant excellent. Food was superb. I can only recommend it to anyone travelling in that area.”

”A cosy and nice hotel. Service and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was quite what you would expect, although points to the hotel for having also something else than english breakfast. Weakest coffee we had the entire trip though. The room was great, however the matress was 20cm smaller than should be on the bed. It was also smaller than in the pictures and wasn’t that comfortable. ”
