”Great location and setting. Reception staff very nice and helpful, a nice touch with a warm cookie. Comfortable bed. Good gym and spa facilities. Bar and breakfast staff were slow and unhelpful. Had to wait a very long time for our drinks after having to go back to the bar twice. It wasnt even busy. A very special thanks to Phil from the maintenance team, who had to step in and sort out the breakfast service. Overall a pleasant stay. ”

”Amazing stay! The hotel is fantastic in the countryside with a great walk around with great views. The room was modern and decorated beautifully to match the building architecture. The pub has a great vibe and the restaurant food was delicious (just note no dogs in the main restaurant) and service is great. Our room was quite warm which meant not getting 100% and as it’s a pub it can be noisy in the evenings/night. ”

”Problems nationwide with computers meant a long wait for a room allocation. Staff dealt with this situation in a friendly and helpful manner and found a resolution as computers remained off all evening. Lovely room, food really good and staff very helpful at all times. ”Location and view is amazing and the food at dinner excellent. I understand why some people have complained about the lack of choice as it is either 3 courses or testing menu so if you only wanted 2 courses tough. But the 3 courses we ate were delicious. We were late booking a room for a Saturday night and got the last room, No:36, which does not have the amazing views, it is looking at the cliff wall and car park, so it's dark and gloomy, made more so by the very odd and poor...
