”The hotel itself was clean, rooms and toilet room were a good size. Would have been more convenient if the rooms had little fridges in them. Bar and lounge area and the garden were nice areas to sit in. More ice at the bar would have been nicer as well. ”

”These lodges are just beautiful! Perfect location for the party we had at Rise and Grind. Beautiful views of the lake from the balcony. Spotlessly clean . Well equipped with kettle/ biscuits etc . Reception staff very welcoming. Honestly can’t fault it . Will visit again one day ”

”Spotlessly clean, super location and the parking space was a godsend with how busy Broadway is during New Year. Having stayed in the village for the past 15 years this was one of the best properties that I have stayed in. ”

”Broadway in the Cotswolds was beautiful, we had a lovely stay at the lodge. The coffee, tea, cookies and milk were a very nice touch. We had an issue with the hot plate and the staff went above and beyond having our breakfast cooked at the restaurant below. Hopefully one day we will be back! Cheers”

”It's such a shame because the Rose Cottage is in a great location but it was very tired and could do with a proper up grade. Cobwebs everywhere which I didn't mind but when I went to use cutlery, saucepans, glass jar they were dirty and I had to clean them. There's no dishwasher so maybe the previous people that stayed didn't know how to wash up by hand and the cleaner didn't check. Also the fridge wasn't turned on and took a long time to get cold meaning no cold beers with our dinner. I...

”The room was very clean and comfortable. The grounds were very well maintained and there was a good atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. The stay was let down by the breakfast. The bacon was excellent, my sausage was pink in the middle so I only ate half, the mushrooms were tinned or something similar, the tomato wasn’t cooked and the potato things were frozen. The eggs were probably good but I don’t eat eggs. The cost of this very poor breakfast for the two of us was £40+. The...
