”Hotel is very tired looking and our room had very poor ventilation.the bathroom window was screwed shut because it was falling apart and the bedroom window had a limited opening.We were unlucky to be on holiday when the heat wave was at its worst.”

Breakfasts were well presented with plenty of choices from hot, cereals, fruit, pastries etc We had dinner most evenings, which we enjoyed, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses. Also sandwiches were available if requested at lunch time in the bar.”

”We had been traveling for about 18 hours when we finally arrived at the hotel. We were treated warmly and our room was ready even though we were there before check-in time. The room had a view of the water, was very clean, had tea and coffee in the room, along with biscuit snacks. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. Being a gardener, I tried to look after the remaining plants and had to transplant one huge heuchera plants that was literally hanging in the air as its pot was...

”The location was brilliant. There was good equipment in the kitchen and the sitting room was comfortable with a great tv. Others have mentioned the water is a bit temperamental but it didn’t affect our stay. I think it could benefit from a deep clean. It wasn’t dirty but needed a bit more care. ”

We never were able to use our reservation and did not stay after paying in full. I called earlier in the day to confirm, and they gave me the lockbox location and code, but upon arrival by taxi (after midnight) there were no keys in the box, leaving us alone outside with no car. ”Amazing apartment with epic, all aspect views. Clean and well maintained and the lady managing the cleaning was lovely. Only negative was it was it was very draughty in the bedroom (but it was extremely windy).”
