”Hotel is very tired looking and our room had very poor ventilation.the bathroom window was screwed shut because it was falling apart and the bedroom window had a limited opening.We were unlucky to be on holiday when the heat wave was at its worst.”

”The staff, we found to be friendly, helpful and efficient. Room bedding and towels were clean with replacements available if required. Rooms were serviced alternate days, but also on request. Breakfasts were well presented with plenty of choices from hot, cereals, fruit, pastries etc We had dinner most evenings, which we enjoyed, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses. Also sandwiches were available if requested at lunch time in the bar.”

”We had been traveling for about 18 hours when we finally arrived at the hotel. We were treated warmly and our room was ready even though we were there before check-in time. The room had a view of the water, was very clean, had tea and coffee in the room, along with biscuit snacks. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. ”Staff were the best thing about the hotel stay. Room was nice enough for our 1 night stop over (family room) with breakfast. Could have been cleaner in the room, no AC, and standing lamp didn’t work. Also could hear the people above moving around.”

”The location was brilliant. There was good equipment in the kitchen and the sitting room was comfortable with a great tv. Others have mentioned the water is a bit temperamental but it didn’t affect our stay. I think it could benefit from a deep clean. It wasn’t dirty but needed a bit more care. ”
