”The whole unit was exactly as described and expected. Self contained with kettle, fridge and microwave(bonus!). Lovely quiet village area. Very comfortable bed and great ensuite bathroom with excellent and powerful shower cubicle. An optional help yourself breakfast facility is a new concept which we didnt use this time, but thought a great idea. We would definitely stay again as the price is very competitive. One small suggestion would be for a choice of some deeper pillows maybe?”

”Really nicely refurbished hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, although they sometimes seemed a little inexperienced. Our room was comfortable, but it felt slightly cramped as it was quite full of furniture, which meant there wasn’t much space for our luggage. Overall, I would recommend staying here, but I think the staff’s experience and confidence need a little time to catch up with the high-end image the hotel is aiming to project.”

”Free parking OK Paid for large breakfast but suspect that I only received a standard one. Mentioned this to the member of staff and was told that it was a new chef on. No other apology. A due to a long wait, a customer who ordered two poached eggs on toast got up and left without receiving his order. Restaurant not busy. Hotel was in centre of town so easy to meet up with friends for dinner in town. No cereal with breakfast. Somme staff did not appear to know what they were doing.”

”Easy to find and a good location as it’s near not far from M40 or to Bicester Village and train station ( the latter being an approx 10 minute drive). The staff were nice and the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice although the shower heads shot out water in random directions which was a bit annoying. Bit of descaling would sort that out easily. There was plenty of parking and the accommodation was across a courtyard from the pub.i would imagine a nice spot in the summer. Food was...
