”The proprietors were charming folks and resident Alaskans. They provided a wonderful breakfast, taking into account our dietary preferences. They also were interesting in that they housed firefighters who had been working to control wildfires threatening some of Alaska's beautiful natural areas.”
”Property was centrally located in the downtown area of Fairbanks, restaurants were walkable. Hotel was clean. AC didn’t work as well as we would have wanted but who would have thought you would need ac in Alaska. Didn’t realize the homeless population was that bad, but they did a good job of keeping them out of the hotel. ”
”It was great. The staff sent the shuttle even though our plane got in an hour later than expected after midnight. They offered extra comforter for the sofa bed. Everything was clean and comfortable. The gym was easy to do a workout in”

”Great welcoming staff. The shower was really small. Which is only a big deal if you like a roomy shower. Apparently also the rooms upstairs had a normal size shower so just fyi. The rest of the property and room were great. ”
”I stayed in the new section of Pikes, the rooms have either a balcony or a deck that runs the length of the building and overlooking the Chena River. ”
”Undergoing some updating which is needed. Breakfast was subpar, but mainly because there were so few guest due to renovations happening. Had there been more guest staying there They would’ve had better service, attendance and quality of food. But that all being said, I would stay there again with no problem.”
