”The proprietors were charming folks and resident Alaskans. They provided a wonderful breakfast, taking into account our dietary preferences. They also were interesting in that they housed firefighters who had been working to control wildfires threatening some of Alaska's beautiful natural areas.”
”Property was centrally located in the downtown area of Fairbanks, restaurants were walkable. Hotel was clean. AC didn’t work as well as we would have wanted but who would have thought you would need ac in Alaska. Didn’t realize the homeless population was that bad, but they did a good job of keeping them out of the hotel. ”
”Such a pleasant surprise to get here and find it better than the pics & reviews. The gym is in a different building than we are staying in, but just a short walk. The room is spacious, clean & comfy. The staff is friendly and very helpful ”

”Great welcoming staff. The shower was really small. Which is only a big deal if you like a roomy shower. Apparently also the rooms upstairs had a normal size shower so just fyi. The rest of the property and room were great. ”
”Quirky, fun and so friendly hostel. Met people of all ages from Japan, Chile and US. Clean, well-priced. Newer washer and dryer. Patio was so inviting with small fountain under a shade tree. Billie is a wonderful host!”
