”We received the warmest of welcomes from Jim, the proprietor. He was so lovely, funny and kind. Although the Shenandoah is a period house, it is right up to date, the decor and furniture looked new. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, there was probably something to suit everyone. I’m a bit of a Nespresso addict and usually take a machine with me when I travel, I didn’t this trip but was delighted when I found a Nespresso machine in the breakfast room.

”We enjoyed our one night stay! We had a king size bed and twin for our 16 year old daughter. It was comfortable and the bathroom was updated and clean. The view of the water was beautiful and the restaurant was was so nice. The bartenders and wait staff were wonderful and welcoming; everyone with a smile!
