”The hotel is actually a former student residence for a nearby college. It is a bit basic but one really can't fault it, everything works very well. There isn't an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, etc, but there are kitchens on each floor, I left milk in the fridge for breakfast. The nearby art gallery has an excellent restaurant, and there is a Morrisons supermarket close by. It is right on Greenock Quay, it is a perfect place to stay if going on Waverley trips by steamer.

”We stayed here while attending a wedding at the nearby Trump Turnberry hotel. The hotel is a short 15-minute drive from Turnberry and right on the coast road with fantastic views. The hotel has an ample car park and spacious rooms. We found the rooms perfect for our 1-night stay. Included in the room rate are various cold breakfast items like cereals, croissaints, ham in the fridge, fruit yougarts, milk for making tea/coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this superb hotel.”
