Part of the reason we chose to come was for its proximity to the two Machrihanish courses but we didn't quite realise how great the beaches are as well! ”Barn was lovely. Very clean had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. Hosts were lovely and provided amazing welcome back for us. Location was lovely and peaceful. Lots DVD books games and blankets in the barn. Had lovely fire although weather was mild so we didnt need to use. Would highly recommend”

”Die Bilder im Inserat versprechen nicht zu viel - die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer und der Terrasse ist grandios. Ein wenig getrübt wurde der Aufenthalt dadurch, dass ständig gelüftet werden muss, weil das Holzhaus sonst etwas muffig riecht. Dass bei dem üppigen Mietpreis der Strom noch extra dazukommt, ist etwas übertrieben.”

”Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!).
