Kaiken keskellä
Pieni, rauhallinen ystävällisen palvelun hotelli loistavalla paikalla. Maittava ja runsas aamiainen. Hieno kattoterassi, josta näköala Ponte Vecchiolle ja kauemmaksi. Ei tungosta. Muutaman minuutin kävelymatka Ufficiin.

Hermitage Hotel on erinomaisella paikalla ja huoneen ovat kuitenkin aika hiljaisia. Aamupala on hyvä ja kattoterassilla on mukava sitä nauttia - jos ampiaiset eivät häiritse.

Mielettömän hyvä sijainti
Hotelli on aivan Ponte Vecchion vieressä. Kävelymatkan päässä ovat järjestäen kaikki nähtävyydet(!). Hotellin tarjoama aamiainen on yksinkertainen, mutta sillä kuitenkin saa hyvän lähdön tulevaan päivään. Meidän huone oli öisin viileä (helmikuu) lämmityksestä huolimatta. Hotelli on rauhallisen hiljainen, mitään ylimääräistä meteliä ei kuulunut mistään. Huoneen tv todella pieni ja sijoitettu katonrajaan vaatekaapin yläpuolelle. Poreamme ihana, rentouttava lisä päivän kaupungilla juoksemisen jälkeen. Suosittelen kaikille jotka haluaa siistin ja hyvin ylläpidetyn keskeisellä sijainnilla olevan perushotellin.

I’m surprised people rate the hotel as “wonderful.” The hotel is located in a good area, with view of the famous “Ponte Vecchio”. The staff is very nice and attentive. The breakfast is good. The room and decor look dated. The room we stayed was very noisy! It looks like all the Trash Pick Up Trucks were there in the middle of the night picking up trash from the hotel and the restaurants in the area. Besides a bicycle station, where people come to drop them off at certain time in the night. The room was very cold and no heat. We used towels to cover the gaps in the window to keep the cold air away. Luckily they left extra blanket in the closet. The rooms have no heat only AC. The TV is very small and the volume is programmed to go to a certain number. You can’t change that. So, if you need hearing aids, put them in the highest volume to be able to watch TV. It’s a hotel for young people who travel with back packs. Not recommended at all to elderly people. There is no doorman to help with luggage and people have to go one floor up on stairs carrying luggage and then take the elevator on the second floor to reach the lobby on the 5th floor.

On the other hand, we regret your room was cold and noisy. If we had known about it, we would have tried to find a better room for you, since our priority is to guarantee a pleasant and enjoyable stay to our guests. Plus, we do not have a specific service for luggage, but we all always help our guests carrying their bags, both at arrival and departure; we do it at night time as well. We apologise if some of the aspects of the stay did not meet your needs, for sure we will do our best next time. We wish you a nice day,

It’s a good choice if you want to be near from City Down Town. It’s not easy to find and you have to carry your bags 2 levels to get the lobby

Great hotel, literally 20m from the Ponte Vecchio. Enjoyed our stay, room was great size for three travellers. Close to all attractions in Florence. Lovely decor. Loved the wallpaper in the lift. Good breakfast, nice variety. Would definitely stay again.

Il personale e’ stupendo e gentilissimo, la posizione impareggiabile. Quello che non va e’ che andrebbe ristrutturato, ok che e’ storico, ma molto vecchio, e davvero, la doccia in camera fuori dal bagno (non finestrato) no. E nemmeno il copriletto macchiato… poi magari e’ solo vecchio ed e’ stato igienizzato, ma nell’insieme non da una bellissima impressione.

Immediately as you exit onto the fourth floor there is a serious stench of dog urine. Was difficult on the first night as we kept smelling it and was even more prominent the second you open the door first thing in the morning.

El hotel está en una ubicación estratégica, frente a Ponte Vecchio y cerca de todos los puntos más turísticos, perfecto para quien tenga poco tiempo para recorrer la ciudad. Las instalaciones no son de lo mejor, es un edificio demasiado antiguo y no está nada aggiornado. Habitaciones medio pelo, solo destaco el kit de baño que era completo por si te olvidas algo. Desayuno muy muy básico y de baja calidad. Personal de servicio excelente, super cordiales y gentiles.

The location is convenient—you can walk to everything. The beds are comfortable. The fifth floor breakfast room and lounge are charming with nice views. As with any city location there is noise.

Avantages : très très proche du Ponte Vecchio, une superbe terrasse avec un très bon restaurant, un personnel adorable, chambres propres Inconvénient : réception au 5eme étage très exiguë, micro ascenseur, il faut s’y prendre à plusieurs fois pour accéder aux étages quand on est quatre personnes plus les valises sans compter l’attente interminable pour le prendre !!! Chambres propres mais sans aucun cachet, petit déjeuner moyen Inutile de penser y venir avec votre voiture,

The hotel is centrally located and gets and outstanding for that. No matter where we wanted to go it was a short walk back. However, know that this is the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in!!! I stayed in room 415 below the restaurant kitchen and across from a common bathroom that got a lot of use. There is so much noise until after midnight with the kitchen clean up and then again at 7am for breakfast. There was also random hammering on things in the building. So be aware of those before you book and enjoy your stay if you chose to stay here. I would probably stay here again but know I wouldn’t get much sleep.

An amazing hotel literally 50 feet from the Ponte Vecchio. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, and the restaurant on the terrace has spectacular views of Florence.

Booked a stay at this hotel and had no communication with what we found when we showed up on the day. Found that the hotel had overbooked and wanted to transfer us 20 minutes north of the location of this hotel. This hotel is right next to the ponte vecchio. I had to complain to hotels.com and the front desk for them to finally accommodate us. They finally gave us a room after 3 hours of sitting around.

The Bathroom was so small. The shower tomb was 24”X24”at best. No mini fridge. No cold water or soda in room. We were told when we checked in as it was our Anniversary that had a special surprise. Well the surprise was no surprise. I would not recommend this property unless you want spartan amenities. The Breakfast was the only bright spot.

Nice hotel, right in front of Ponte Vecchio and next to the Uffizi gallery. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace and the view. Didn’t receive any VIP benefit though and the door to the room was so difficult to open it had to be jimmied just right.

We lived 4 days with a flooded shower
We arrived to Hotel Hermitage to stay for 4 nights. When we arrived we were told that there was a leak in our bathtub so we couldn’t shower that day. They gave us a free glass of wine and we thought “oh well”. The next day after showering the water was leaking everywhere around the sink and base of shower. We mopped it up thinking it was just from us showering. We got home hours later and the flood almost reached our bedroom. It was everywhere. We told front desk and they said they couldn’t repair it until the next day, but if they did repair it, we would need to be out of the room for 8 hours. We did as they asked. We got home to the following MESS (see attached pictures). Black water and the plumbers tools left everywhere. Dirty smelly towels too. We went to front desk where the lady was nice but she was working alone. So they had the cook go clean our room floor. It was absolutely disgusting. We asked for a manager and she informed me the manager would contact me the next day. We tried all day to get a new room or a Manager and nothing. Even the day after, no manager. Nothing was given to us. They “allowed” us to sit on the rooftop for a free glass of wine (I’d rather a bathroom) and we waited 20 minutes without being served. t’s a stunning patio with grumpy servers who barely come to serve you. It was our second time there. The hotel had SO much potential but poor customer service in the event of a problem. This hotel was very expensive. I’m so disappointed

Do not allow them to give you a room on the 6th floor. It’s right next to the rooftop (loud) and you can hear everything in the kitchen. Bad experience.
