”We just had one night stay wishing to relax and decompress. It was perfect. Quiet, the room was lovely and warm (easy to adjust temperature to our own preference), our own hot tub to relax in, fabulous breakfast. Shower lovely and powerful, plenty of towels. Such a lovely stay. Thank you ”

”We had a great stay here. The room was quiet and spacious, with plenty of storage plus a table and 2 bucket chairs as well as a dressing table and chair. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was bright with a good sized shower including a rainfall as well as a shower hose. The breakfast was also excellent. The staff were helpful too.”

”Beautiful hotel with no expense spared on recent fit out with great furnishings. Very comfortable hotel with fantastic staff who's attention to detail is fantastic. I mentioned at lunch that I was Coeliac and laster when we checked in to our room gluten free biscuits were placed on the tea tray. A small detail but I have never experianced this before in an hotel. The food in the restaurant is also first class. Unfortunately we were unable to return on Sunday for lunch as it was fully booked!”

”Staff were great, room was overall lovely and clean but coffee and kettle was dusty and few bits in the room that was a little run down hence the 4 stars.”

”Easy to find, easy to park and always a warm friendly welcome. Room has everything I need, having a fridge is particularly good. No disturbance from busy main road, Indian restaurant next door is excellent. I stay here every 6-8 weeks for work, always relaxing.”

”It’s an old property with lots of character uneven floors and lots of steps it’s lovely and clean although rooms are a bit dated and some quite small has some outside rooms with private entrances We had a shower over a bath which may be difficult for some one elderly to use so I’d specify if you have any specific needs The food was good basic pub grub and breakfast was excellent Parking is easy and free for residents just make sure you register your number plate when you arrive The hotel is...

We had to pack the relative darkness looking for our belongings from the lights from our phones, and finding a way down the corridors in a huge sprawling hotel in the dark was quite tricky.
