”This a funky, boutique hotel that's available at a very reasonable rate with limited, but free spaces for parking. We loved the lavish decor! The staff was very helpful, especially with getting our boarding passes printed before we left. We'd definitely stay here again.”

”This hotel is using fake pictures on Expedia. The room has cute pictures of a vintage vibe set up but when you check in it looks like a jail cell. The rooms list nonsmoking and a bathtub and it had neither. The entire room smelled like cigarettes and had an ashtray in it. The hallway smelled even worse. There was a dead smeared fly and brown stains on the wall. I am not a confrontational person and stupidly assumed that Expedia would have my back when I showed how blatantly false this listing...

”My room was clean. The air conditioning was working the way it should. When it came to the TV channel l was trying to watch it but that channel wasn’t working properly, no big deal. I could watch it on my phone. It was my first time at this hotel, but my second time in this area and l like that the train station is close. which it’s the 7 train. Lots of shops near. Personally l just needed a place where to leave my bags( stuffs) and to lay my head down at the end of the day. I would definitely...

”Very dirty. Hair from other guests in the room and the shower was not cleaned at all. Not bad place to stay if you’re in a pinch. AC was perfect for the summer. Staff was okay.”

”Worst experience ever smell was so bad a lot of crackhead and local residence was there and washing there was a bag in the bedroom covering the smoke detector. You were just hearing noise all around on the property. The smell is just so bad. The bed looked on kept it’s a zero out of 10 for me. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there and they have the audacity to not give me a refund. The picture the post online of the property is does not live up to this standard.”

”It turned out better than I expected it was going to. The neighborhood is completely unappealing except that it was close to JFK and very close to our family. There are no amenities to speak of. There is no lobby, just a closet in a hallway that has been converted to a manager’s booth, where he is completely locked in and transacts through bullet-proof glass. The room, however, was small but perfectly clean and recently renovated. There is no lamp, no fridge, etc., but it was comfortable...

”The building is prewar so it is what it is. The cleaning personnel did a good job but the smell of the air freshener is off-putting. You can hear the train pass every 5mins. There is only one elevator and it is kinda slow so prepare to use the stairs. The mattress is, for lack of a better word, very basic. Free breakfast is coffee/tea. There is free parking although it has to be said, you have to be a good driver to successfully clear the narrow entryway.”

”This is a terrible hotel. The bed frame has a spiky metal piece that sticks out if the mattress is not centered. In the middle of the night I got up and cut my leg open because I couldn't see it in the dark. The floors were filthy. There is no airport shuttle as claimed on the booking page, no phone in the room to call reception, and obviously no breakfast. The noise all night from the street made it hard to sleep. It was a big mistake to stay here.”
