”The property is in a lovely location, very quiet a a peaceful - you really need a car as nowhere nearby to get supplies, it’s basic, but immaculate and with everything you need. Sharon was very helpful, but we sadly we were unable to meet Gabriela and Douglas on this occasion, we had read such glowing reviews about them. (I hope you are feeling better, and hopefully we may get to come again and meet you). Deep bay is a 20 min walk and is just gorgeous. ”

”Four adults stayed in Cottage 1 at Buccaneer Beach Club. We checked into a clean cottage and it was cleaned every 2nd day. Shout out to Natalie who cleaned and always had the nicest smile and kind soul. Stanley is one of the first faces we saw, he greeted us and helped with the luggage and groceries we had. ”Huoneeni oli iso ja rauhallinen. Hotellissa ei ollut respaa. En tajunnut ottaa yhteyttä etukateen, vaan soitin vasta kun olin perillä. Onneksi paikan päällä oli henkilökuntaa. Sijainti oli aika kaukana keskustasta eikä lähellä ollut oikein muuta kuin omakotitaloja. Paikan nimi oli vähän yliampuva. ”I loved my room a little way too much! I wish I would have stayed in this hotel for more days. I was very impressed with my stay and how close it is to downtown. The only issue I encountered was that the hotel room that I booked included breakfast but the hotel was charging for breakfast. ”

”I had booked a seaview room and got exactly what I wanted, a million dollar view from my decent sized balcony where I enjoyed breakfast every morning. The beach is excellent and two good restaurants next to the resort. A super small supermarket on site. All units are different (having different owners and reflecting their taste). I enjoyed the Caribbean colors and decorations of my unit. A bit dated but you also get what you pay for.”

”large rooms light and airy (upstairs , downstairs seemed like they may be a little dark and there would be people walking past all the time) steps to upper floor slippy in the tropical weather so be aware if this is a thing for you. all staff, like everywhere in Antigua very friendly and helpful (one minor exception - housekeeping on day of departure a little rude / brusk). quite location , except gardening noise most days (they have to be maintained) walking distance to restaurants but...

All our excursions and transportation was handled by the butler staff. This was our second time at Hodges Bay Resort and it was even better than our first time.
