”Old, worn down hotel with very uninspired people. The first room I was given was terrible quality and so loud with street noise it was impossible to sleep. I was forced to pay for an upgrade to a "club" floor, which is basically the same room but comes with free soda, as it was the only room available that wasn't facing the street. IMO I should not have been charged for that. Overall this is a 2-star hotel and I would avoid it if you can find any other options. It's about a 30min walk to...

”Checked in late at night. My room had a soiled bed. Went down to the reception to inform the front desk staff - not sure he believed me. Came down again after half hour requesting clean sheets again. He sent sent security with a set of bedding. Showed him the soiled sheets and he went to get a second set of bedding (2 queen bed room). ”Location is exactly what we were looking for. Lots of places to eat and drink in the area and a beautiful park across the road. We took taxis to the main attractions which worked out great for us. The area of DuPont Circle is a real gem. Highly recommend it as a base for visiting DC.”

”The temperature in the room never went below 71, despite a complaint and attempted remediation from the staff. The fam the staff delivered to the room Was much appreciated, however it was v dirty. It was impossible to stay in the room without using the fan and that triggered difficulty in breathing for all the next day.”

”The best thing about the property is the location. The best way to describe the room is plastic. The bath/shower controls were dirty and the control for the bathtub was missing. The A/C was fine and the bed fairly comfortable. The cost of the room was outrageous as a result of the timing; it was Georgetown University's graduation weekend. There were 2 bottles of water, coffee and tea available downstairs and no bathroom amenities.”
