”The communication at the start was horrible. I sent emails and called with no response. I felt ignored so I contacted h otels.com then I finally got a response. Once i was hooked up with Sam, everything was perfect. Sam went above and beyond to ensure my nephew and I were taken care of. The place was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.”

”Hotel was lovely, and staff were very friendly and attentive. We stayed at the end of season and it was very quiet and maybe this is the reason it lacked atmosphere. Lots of maintenance happening while we were there as they were gearing up for a busy week with the jazz festival. The hotel is a short walk from the marina with several dining options there (needed as the choices at the hotel were very limited) but otherwise not much is within walking distance. ”We are happy with our stay. First we received a suite with kitchenette (ground floor) that we did not like because of its condition. Even the hotel is non-smoking, this classic suite smelled by smoke and looked old. Some guests tend to ignore the rules. ”Ants everywhere in the room and we did not have food or snacks in there.. suitcases, bathroom. We alerted staff on this and they tried to blame us for it. Me and a friend in an entirely different room had the same issue. When I got back to the states, my house was infected with ants. Other than that, the breakfast was great, and dinner was OK.
