”There is no staff present and the hosts don't reply when you email them. The rooms are cozy and clean but not sound proof. Breakfast is provided along with fresh eggs but there's no way to cook them other than in a microwave. The bathroom has a tub and a handheld shower, impossible for anyone to shower without wetting the entire bathroom. The bathroom sink is little more than a birdbath. No fan or ventilation other than opening the front door.”

”Peter's service at check in and bar service was warm and welcoming”

”Beautiful, quiet location by Loch Tay at the edge of the village. Accommodation is well maintained if a little frayed, the landscaped grounds are really well maintained. The onsite swimming pool and restaurant/bar is useful as there are limited alternatives nearby. Friendly, welcoming staff.”

”The Dunalastair was a pleasant surprise at the end of a long and winding road, and I mean that literally! We booked online thinking it would shorten our ride to Edinburgh from Loch Ness because the Expedia website said it was in Pitlochry, but it’s actually 20 miles away from Pitlochry! Since it was a one-night stay and rainy we weren’t able to enjoy all of the property, but the rooms were spacious and modern, the restaurant featured excellent food and service, and the front desk staff was...

”Bella la vista sul lago. Cucina attrezzata”

”We absolutely loved our stay! The house is just great, and equipped with everything we could have needed. Perfectly located for munros and exploring the local area. We will be back! Thank you.”

”Loved it Incredible view Very comfortable stay”

”We really enjoyed our stay here for a group of five. Nicely laid out property and great views of the valley, hills, and mountains. The property is nice and modern. I found the beds comfortable, but my friend said they were a little soft and bouncy. We loved that we could watch Netflix and television easily. We will definitely stay here again. ”

”Excellent, comfortable and clean chalet with good view’s across the loch Rannoch and the hills. The climb up to the chalet was okay after we got used to it. Very good views of mountain Schiehallion from the chalet. The car parking was tight.”

”This was lovely accommodation with amazing views but it was listed as a 2 bedroom property but actually only had one bedroom with a sofa bed in the lounge. If we had known this we probably wouldn’t have booked it”

”View was amazing the only highlight. The property was very dated. The table had remnants of food on it and the bin had not been emptied from the previous guests. It was 1 degree that night with no option to turn the heating on so we slept in our clothes as it was freezing!! The bath had a permanent dirty mark on it as im sure it had been there from day 1. Like I said the view was amazing and the recetionist was friendly but those were the only good point.”
